I’m not crazy over flying but I hope I never experience rough turbulence on a flight.

I hate flying for that reason...turbulence turns me into a giant titty baby.

Why do women scream all the time for everything?

Covid got me out of my rhythm of flying regularly (probably a dozen or more times a year since I was 18). And on a flight a few weeks ago every time the plane bumped I felt awful . I used to be so nonchalant about flying but a year or so break and suddenly I lost my nerve.

Rough turbulence feels awful but I guess it's supposed to be not very dangerous in terms of actually resulting in anything bad. Flying really fricks with your brain when you think about the logistics and how we're conquering many natural deterrents to us being able to move that fast and that high.

“Not all women, you’re a sexist.”

What % has to be true for people to just accept something as an attribute without questioning it?

I’ve been on a couple of really bad flights with turbulence, like people praying bad…not fun.

Though, I will say that I sometimes get the most freaked out, especially on overseas flights, when I’ve sat there for a while and realize how smooth everything is and it’s like I’m not on a plane at all.

It’s a fleeting feeling, but weird nonetheless.

Anytime someone mentions bad turbulence and praying I can't help but think of the Almost Famous plane scene.

i was on a flight from Laredo to Dallas that we hit clear air turbulence and it almost made me consider changing professions so I didn't have to fly.

having the plain drop for a 2nd or 2 at a time, or the pilot try and bank around the bad pockets only to have the plane push sideways - was a very stressful 30 minutes of flight time.

Either the last flight or the second to last flight I was on the turbulence was so bad some of the oxygen masks dropped out of their compartments. That wasn’t that much fun..,

That looked pretty bumpy. Worst I had was over the north Atlantic, not sure how bad it was but the beverage cart slammed into the ceiling on the first bump. Luckily the FAs were not injured.

"Most screamers are women" doesn't mean "most women are screamers".

There's probably women on that flight who also want them to STFU.

I bet that plane is full of those people who clap and cheer when it lands.

Get over it.

It is 50x more dangerous getting in your car and pulling out of the airport onto the highway.
