You just chalk it up as something you can’t control and suck it up. He is still the guy’s son.

His decision to attend Texas A&M should have been a hint.

Gay.

When a man tells his parents this, what does it really mean? The loving another person part ain’t so bad, the gay sex to “show” the love is my issue.

Dad was either too soft or too hard on his boy.

That's how you get a goldilocks and not a bear

He could always be a pitcher, but never a catcher.

Send him to the Gulag. That’ll straighten him out quick.

I’d be devastated too. Can’t think of a more embarrassing or worse thing. Especially since scientists now think there is a connection to genetics and Homosexuality. Ouch.

I would be really dammed upset and disappointed if my son were gay.
....but I would still love him, and I would tell him.

It's a simple as that.

Now how can he feel like a real man if his son gay?

If he’s a flamer then I’d dis own him. If he still hunts and fishes with me and has basic understanding of construction I could handle it.

I always understood why women wanted to be lesbians but never understood why guys wanted to be gay.

Your dad will come around. Try wearing pumps. That will help.

Would you tell him you were disappointed or would he already know based on past statements you might’ve made?
