If I could shoot that good. I would want to do that as much as possible. Going around taking out carpenter bees.

shite, I just googled it and it's a thing. Myth Busters did a show on it and disproved the guys assertion in the video I just linked.

I used to let them hover in front of me in my dad's old barn and whack em with my Louisville Slugger. A carpenter bee makes a pretty good thud up against a tin wall.

It's 22 shotshell, anyone can do it. It doesn't really do any damage to wood or concrete. Its a ton of fun. I do it with my 22/45 all the time in the summer.

Bug-a-salt blows arse, you are better off just getting a fly swatter. Mine wouldn't kill a carpenter bee if it was point blank on it.

Yeah, but there has to be a little more pride in being able to shot them. While not that much, they are still a moving target.
