Guy shoots carpenter bees with a pistol

umm CCI Shotshell... close range... come on brah.

It's more fun destroying them in mid air with my hand or my cap.

Don't know what to think of this.

Part of me is impressed, the other part hopes he shoots himself in the foot.

Even if the slug doesn't hit the bee, if the slug passes close enough the vapor pressure from the passing slug will kill the bee.


There is a video on YouTube of a guy that killed a deer with a 50 cal without hitting the deer with the slug. The vapor pressure from the passing slug sucked the deer's brains out. I'll see if I can find the video and post it.

Seems like a good way to accidentally shoot your neighbor Jerry when he walks over to see what all the noise is about.

Dude kills a deer instantly with 50 cal vapor pressure. He totally missed but he slug passed close enough to the deer to drop her instantly due to the passing slugs vapor pressure. Starts around the 3 minute mark. LINK

My first instinct was to perform the calculations but I never got around to it.

But if that 50 cal slug would hit the deer in the head it would have taken its head off.
