Seems odd a barista would write a note about a drink that isn't modified (looks like it was ordered directly the menu) and probably is a really popular seller. Is this going on every White Chocolate Mocha they serve? Why this one in particular?
Instead of the name on the cup, the barista put the note.

.... yes, I see that
This drink has been on their menu for years and was ordered with no modifications, so I am sure the barista in question sells hundreds a day. I wonder why he/she wrote the note on this one in particular.

how can someone drink something so sweet

Ah I see what you're saying.
Maybe the barista was annoyed because the employee came in and probably ordered 10 drinks with 10 different special requests and whatnot.

As a type 1 diabetic, this shite is funny to me

I don't get it, I would have chuckled so hard.

The barista should mind their own business and let the guy do as he pleases. Barista is surely a SJW type trying to save the world one snarky comment at a time
Pretty sure the barista was just trying to have a little fun at a job he doesn't care about/doesn't care if he gets fired.

Normally I think people are pussies when they get upset about words, but this is a pretty a-hole-ish thing to do by the barista assuming this is a regular drink that is on their menu.

Yeah, the dude going to the news is a huge bitch move. Get over it.
But it does seem like a weird thing for an employee to do over something that is offered on their menu. I've made fun of people's orders before.. like when someone ordered a side salad with no lettuce (they wanted the toppings only), but making fun of a normal menu item seems odd.
Guess he was bored.

I don't drink them myself, but c'mon. Never had a milkshake?

A non-fat dude doesn't get upset at this.
Barista just hit him with the truth and he's not ready to accept it.

I couldn't drink a milkshake. I can't even eat a bowl of ice cream. Sweet stuff like that is hard to stomach for me.
Same reason I can't put down entire 12% ABV chocolate coffee stouts that have 2 years of age. shite, even a breakfast bar kills me. I wish they came in like "egg and cheese" flavor.

Milk isn't the issue.. I can put down a gallon of whole milk in 2 days..
It is the chocolate, sugar, etc.
Absolutely. 10x more laquer-y and thick.
