I couldn't drink a milkshake.

It's not whether you or anyone for that matter thinks it's too sweet, it's

"how can anyone drink something so sweet " that is just silly. The answer is "most people" including people who are not fat.

Well this guy is just ignorant. The implication being made is that his drink would lead to Type 2 diabetes.

1.38 g of sugar/oz in milk is still better than 3.69 g of sugar/oz in whatever that white chocolate rip-off.

white chocolate

...grosses me out.

White chocolate is typically made from a blend of cocoa butter (theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat), milk solids, sugar, milk fat and lecithin — a fatty emulsifier that holds it all together.

I agree. I'm just saying it's kind of silly to assume drinking tons of milk or juice during the day is much better.

I mean, if you're drinking one latte or whatever that has 60 grams of sugar that's bad, but it's really not that different from someone who drinks 6 glasses of milk per day.

The person that drinks 6 glasses of 2% milk would be taking in more grams of sugar than the person who drinks 1 of those lattes.

Well the HFCS or whatever they're putting in those lattes is a lot higher on the glycemic index than lactose. Not to mention that someone drinking 6 glasses of milk a day is almost certainly more active than the average latte consumer.

There's also casein protein in milk, which quells hunger, so if you're drinking 6 glasses of milk a day, you're probably eating less solid food. It's a lot harder to get fat off of 6 glasses of milk a day than 1 latte a day.

You eat little debbie cakes in the pantry with the lights off to feel better about yourself don't you?

Seems odd a barista would write a note about a drink that isn't modified (looks like it was ordered directly the menu) and probably is a really popular seller. Is this going on every White Chocolate Mocha they serve? Why this one in particular?

This was my point when I asked what was so funny, thank you for articulating this thought so well
