Like Clooney’s character in Up in the Air. Except he looks nothing like George Clooney.

I wonder if Joe Burrow used his service for every opponent last year lol.

I hope he makes a lot because that would be a miserable job.

I'd like to do this job and get hired to tell a wife her husband is actually gay.

Cheers had an episode where Norm was hired to do that. Married With Children did as well where Marcy delivered bad news while having an orgasm. Lol

There was a Cheers' episode based on this premise, Norm played the Grim Reaper.

Norm once got a job firing people on Cheers. He figured out that if he started crying as he told his "victims", they always took it better, and even tried to cheer him up.

Like every gd HR mgr I have ever dealt w/ … they could break the news of their grandmothers death and not even bat an eye ….

Don’t know if this has been mentioned or not, but I think this happened on Cheers one episode.
ETA: if that is true that he does it for $3.50, he could charge WAAAAAY more than that and make some good money.

Great movie and karma came back his way at the end.

First company I worked after the military was a small startup telecom. We hire a new director. On the directors first day, he gets brought into the CEO's office and ordered to fire my manager. Like literally within 2 hours of starting at the company.
Director handled it with tact, did as he was told saying it was the most agonizing thing he's ever had to do. My manager told him to frick off and stormed out.
The director tendered his resignation a week later going back to his old company.
I was 22 and did not know that i should have saw that as a sign our company was not gonna last. It went bankrupt 6 months later
