Guy facing life sentence for finding 20 kilos in GOM...

And then selling it. I always wondered what I would do in this situation. Hopefully I could successfully flip it while entertaining strippers at the same time.
Guy was already a convicted felon but the judge should still go easy on him .

Need to change your title. He didn't get life for finding it. He might get life for selling it.

This is why if you find something like that you just keep walking and tell no one.
Literally nothing good can happen by picking it up. The best case scenario is the cartel doesn't find you and kill you, and that the police don't lock you up for a long time.

The problem is, you know the right thing to do is alert authorities.
However, when you bring it on board the first instinct is to "test" it to determine what it is and it's quality.
So now, you're high on coke and you think, A.) I want to do this again. Hell let's do another right now. and B.) We could sell this and collect free money.

Wouldn't count on it...

Be honest, you are busting arse as a long line fisherman and have a windfall of a couple million dollars in product fall in your lap. I think a good majority of people at least flirt with it.

I wouldn't sell it I would just do it. Just on the weekends, of course
Posted on 1/27/17 at 10:04 am to CapperVin
I wouldn't touch it. Not worth the risk of jail or cartel.

Two years ago a large load of cocaine washed up on the levee bank in the middle of Belle Chasse. Some guy found it walking his dog and called the sheriff.

Maybe not because they wouldn't want to, but mainly because most wouldn't know wtf to do with it.
I mean do you really expect the average person to have the connections to sell that much coke?

"Here's 45 pounds of coke. Sell it discretely."
