Done it many times thank you very much. Was also smart enough to not try to hook up w/a girl who was blatantly wasted b/c I'm not a shitbag.
Oh spare me the white knighting.

I've listed reasons out several times now. We don't even know if the guy was actually invited into the house.
You've never driven a person home and asked to use their toilet before you take off? Really?
Forgive me for being jaded, but these stories are far too often regrettable sex and not rape. Women have substantially abused this power over men for a number of years now. I'm not claiming to know what happened but my personal experiences are leading me to believe we aren't getting the whole story. I'm curious to see what the people that were bar hopping with them have to say.

I doubt you will ever get to hear there version of things, rape cases are usually kept pretty quiet once they get to court

If I'd have turned down every drunk girl I ever had sex with it would cut my number by half

Better than having retarded children. Sorry Django.

Seriously, the guy walked in on his girl and another guy having sex. If she was being raped, that guy is more than likely gonna get killed or be chased out of the home buck naked. This did not happen, as the article said the boyfriend escorted the guy out of the home. This makes me think the boyfriend himself deemed his girlfriend the more culpable party.

This unfortunately is true. It's sad that some women have used this to excuse their own regrettable behavior. It only tarnishes those who are truly raped. Many do not come forward because sometimes better to be thought a slut in private than called a whore by the public.

Haven't had either... You tell me

Sounds about right if you ask me

Cases like this are difficult. I don't know how they could prove this is rape. Sounds like one person's word against another's.
If she went to a hospital or had a sexual assault kit performed on her, it would shed some light. Could show the sex was forced upon the gal by marks on her body or that the sex was likely consensual. (no marks on body where he was forcibly holding her down, etc.) However, consensual vs. non-consensual cases are obviously tougher than flat out lies where no sex occurred.
Also, the element that it was not a random stranger who broke into the house plays a role.
I'm also intrigued by the two girls who were taken home first. Either there was no threat by this guy or they are bad friends.
Hell, let the guy admit to drinking and driving, plea to a DUI and clear his name.

So a lot of you keep saying he said she said and there is some degree but if girl is moderately incoherent when boyfriend gets home and pretty drunk when friend leave her... and maybe those texts are a little sloppy....
Well you see how it could move away from total mystery and to actual charges quickly

This is why I carry around a breathalyzer and consent form when I go out. Try to squirm out of that evidence after BigPerm butt fricks you and you regret it.

Do guys that rape a girl at 3 a.m. hang out for seconds at 6 a.m.? Did they nap in between? Was he aware that her boyfriend was due at any time?
What did her friends and anybody at the bar say? What were her first words when her boyfriend walked in on them?
There are too many unanswered questions to make a rational prediction of who is right or wrong. The truth will probably prevail once the detectives gather all of the info.

An accusation is all that is needed in Louisiana for an arrest to made me for this crime.
Especially given that he was a guest in town and likely to be leaving. They wanted to make sure they had him.

I realize jail bookings and whatnot are public record
But I just think it's bullshite the dude's name gets to be drug through the mud while the female's name is left out of everything. "Innocent until proven guilty" my arse
The dude's life is fricked regardless

The incident happened the night of Feb. 10/11th. They arrested him Thursday. He posted $25,000 bond and he's probably back in DC by now. (I doubt he went barhopping on Frenchman St again.)

My theory:
Both parties were very intoxicated. Girl may have been more so, yet drunk guy doesn't realize she can't make judgement because he can't. He is ultimately the responsible party as HE furthered it. Is what it is.
I can't wrap my head around puss boyfriend.
