Britany Jacobs, whose boyfriend Markeis McGlockton was shot and killed during an argument over handicapped parking space in Florida on Thursday, called for justice in the 28-year-old's death in an interview with Good Morning America on Monday. Jacobs broke down in tears as she detailed what it was like to witness the 28-year-old's death and the impact the shooting has had on the couple's three young children.

I don’t think the guy should have been shot over that, but if you get physical with someone you have to be aware there is a chance you will get shot. I have no problem with him not being charged based off the law.

I wonder if the argument was over her being parked in the handicapped spot illegally

1. Dead guy shouldn't have pushed other guy to the ground, even if he was disrespecting his baby momma.
2. CC licenses are for self defense, not confidence boosters so you can argue with a mid 20s woman over where she parked. If she is in a handicap spot, take a picture with your phone and send it to police.
3. Bringing out the gun was the right call, and dead guy clearly backed off. There was no reason to fire the weapon at that point.

Shooter isn't mature enough to have a handgun and CCL, hope he gets charged.

I'm trying to figure out why he was pushing him?

Says they were auguring over the handicap spot. So were they both handicap?

Seems like the shooting was unneeded.

Also seems the sheriff is grandstanding a bit, no? Couldn’t just say “no charges at this time but it’s under review” instead of going on like he did?

Uh, yeah. Assuming the shooter wasn't standing there threatening anyone, for the dead guy to just come up and push him hard like that....

Verdict: [NOT] Guilty

Basically, don't start shite, won't be shite.

I can’t tell the races in the video, but I’m
Guessing he doesn’t want this to blow up more than it has to.

That’s a tough one. frick the attacker for going physical when they are having a verbal confrontation but...

A. It looked like the attack was over, it isn’t like he was stomping his head or coming back for more. I would not have fired unless he started coming back at me.

B. You should be aware enough to know that some people are going to elevate any confrontation to physical. If you are going to initiate the verbal contact, you should be prepared for that.

C. The guy initiating the physical contact should likewise be aware that you just don’t frick with some people and I guess he learned that.

I think this is exactly what concealed weapons are for to begin with. If you choose to get physical with someone, there’s always a chance that something like this could happen. That’s the risk you take.

Once the gun was pulled the initialattacker backed the hell up. He doesn’t show any signs of further physical threat. Obviously we can’t tell what he is saying, but I don’t think he needed to shoot the guy.

You're not supposed to pull your weapon, unless you're going to use it.

I’m sorry, but if somebody is disrespecting my wife or the mother of my children, I’m probably gonna get physical with you.

I mean, I don't disagree. But as you see, you run the risk of dying, and the other person not facing charges.

I can't say I wouldn't do the same if someone was disrespecting my wife in the moment, but in the end, is it really worth risking your kids losing their father over?
