So if I walked up to your wife and said straight to her face that she was a massive cum guzzling whore who makes her money on her back, you would just sit there and allow me to say that?

It’s not pride man, it’s the fact that that is my wife and kids, I’m not going to allow anybody to talk to them like that, as I would never think to speak to them in any manner of that sort. Or anybody else’s family.

Wrong. Go back and watch it closely. I know I had I had to.
The assailant walks out of the store and pulls up his pants, which is universal trashy for "Im bout to whoop yo azz" without knowing ANYTHING about the situation. Similar to your refrain about defending your wifes worthless honor.
He then proceeds to violently shove the victim to the ground.
Now look closely.
He pulls his pants up again and moves towards the victim who is laying on the ground.
Look closely. The victim reaches towards his right rear hip. To most, this is the universal gesture of unholstering a firearm or other discharge weapon or unsheathing a knife. Its at this exact point the assailant starts backing up. He recognized that the victim was drawing a weapon.
End of story.
