It’s doing both in that time frame
And no I could not and never would have been able to do it in 5 minutes just like 95% of people here

The pushups would be easy.
Yup, 100 push ups in as few sets as possible is a warmup for me on Mondays.

The pullups are a different story. I THINK I could push myself to get 50 (on top of the pushups) in 10 minutes, but I haven't tried it.
The problem with pull ups is that you're way more gassed after a high rep set than you are with push ups. I can do push ups to failure then a minute later do another set and only reduce my number by 5 or 6. I can do 25-30 pull ups in a set but after that one set I'm completely gassed on them. 5 sets of 10 is something I do 2 or 3x per week with a 25 lb weight hanging under me, though. I can speed that up if I'm just doing bodyweight. You'd just have to be calculated with your reps/rest.
I'd have to try it but I think the fastest I could do it is 6 or 7 minutes now that I'm crunching it down.

Push ups? No problem. However I haven't even attempted a pull up since the 80s so no way I could do that one.

Push ups yes.
Pull-ups, not even 20
I’m now 74 and there is no way on the pull-ups. I have slim shoulders and weigh 210. It is what it is.

If you did 10 pushups and 5 pull-ups this is doable. 6 minutes is probably pushing it but you’d finish under 7. Key is not being a dumbass and opening with a set of 20 pull-ups or 60 pushups and getting down to 2s and 3s. If you are smart this isn’t really that hard, especially in 10 minutes.

I won my grade school pull-up competition with 17 pull-ups, total. I cannot imagine doing 50.
Pushups, no problem.

Absolutely. I can do 100 pushups straight. Would have to break up the pull ups but I can do it. FYI: I mean real pull ups and push ups. Not this bullshite where you move two inches. I’ll actually try it today at the park

50 pullups no way.
100 pushups, I would definitely need more than 10 minutes.

No you can’t

Could drop and give 100 easily
Gonna need to do like 5 sets of 10 pulls tho. Gonna need all of the minutes.

10 minutes would be a breeze for me. I'm tempted to try for 5 minutes at lunch today. I know I can get close to it based on some of the EMOMs I've done. I have a feeling I'd end up finishing at 5:30 and get pissed off about the 30 seconds.

Used to knockout 100 pushups and 80+ situps on the APFT....20 years ago..
Now I wouldn't even try that nonsense and certainly don't have an ego for it either.

50 pull ups, nah.
100 pushups in 10 minutes? Gun to my head, for sure could tough through it.

It’s extremely rare, even for people who lift, which is not very many people.
100 real pushups unbroken is very, very hard

10 mins yes. I do 5 sets of 12-14 2x a week for pull ups. I only take about 90 seconds in between. I used to do more but once I got in my 40s I stopped fighting for every rep. I lift chest 1-2x a week and can crank through a lot of push ups as well.
No shot I could do it in 5.

I’ve been doing pushups for the past few months and have worked my way up to over 50 in a row without stopping, so I could definitely get the 100 pushups pretty quickly.
But I don’t do pull-ups, so I don’t think I’d get anywhere close to 50.
This is the prevailing sentiment for those of us a little long in the tooth that have tried to maintain some sort of exercise routine over the years.
Push ups, you just need to get down on the floor and do them at home so its easier to be more consistent. Can't do that with pull ups, which I was never very good at anyway when I was young and had that bar across my bedroom door way.
Interesting how you can have your routine interrupted by hunting season or something and then when you start back you can do about 75% of your previous max, but then within 2-3 weeks you're right back at 100% again.

i think you are underestimating the difficulty of 100 straight pushups, assuming they are real pushups.
