Glock's a good gun. I prefer my .40 S&W though.

I learned something:
quote:

“Number 1 buck is the smallest diameter shot that reliably and consistently penetrates more than 12 inches of standard ordnance gelatin when fired at typical shotgun engagement distances. A standard 2 ¾-inch 12 gauge shotshell contains 15 pellets of #1 buck. The total combined cross sectional area of the 15 pellets is .964 square inches. Compared to the total combined cross sectional area of the nine pellets in a standard #00 (double-aught) buck shotshell (0.77 square inches), the # 1 buck shotshell has the capacity to produce over 20 percent more potentially effective wound trauma. In all shotshell loads, number 1 buckshot produces more potentially effective wound trauma than either #00 or #000 buck. In addition, number 1 buck is less likely to over-penetrate and exit an attacker’s body.”

Q Honey Badger - 5.56 or 300BLK

7" barrel, Short handguard version - $1899
7" barrel, Long handguard version with suppressor - $2599

I got the long handguard with the can and a short handguard as an accessory. $2850 total + $200 tax stamp

Going to get a 16" 5.56 barrel for it as well

I’m kinda surprised how many people use the AR platform for home defense. I assumed it would be too much power and a bit long for quick maneuvering. But then again, a shotgun is just about the same length and it’s a popular choice. So I guess an AR wouldn’t be too much overkill.

Wow, that's sweet. I may be coming into some money shortly but that's a chunk of change to throw down. How hard is it to go through the process to get the suppressor?

It comes with every upgrade you would possibly put on an AR, you're just paying it all upfront instead of incrementally. The machined channels for the stock rails is unbelievably awesome. ATC AR Gold trigger, adjustable gas block, Radian ambi CH, the works.

Suppressor process takes an hour or two of work, and about 10-12 months of waiting. get passport photos taken at Walgreens, get some prints done at the police station, take all that to an SOT and fill out the Form 4, then send it off with the $200 check. Worst part is the wait.

Well, that won't come until after the police come and arrest him, but yeah that's the end game.
