Some idiot on Facebook repeatedly talking about living below sea level, and calling some lady an idiot for moving to New Orleans. A- that's not even the point in this video and B- he also lives in fricking New Orleans

I am throughly shocked in this thread
We have a guy being a complete a-hole causing potential damage to property, and tough guys are taking his back and calling others snowflakes...
It is arse backwards

This is the new world we live in
Calling out people for literally breaking the law makes you... a Hillary voter?

It's the mob mentality and screaming for attention that is over the top. PM the company the video or email it to them.

Guess they've never heard of the phrase "turn around, don't drown".

You're trying too hard. This guy deserves to be tarred
and feathered for all the damage he caused. frick him.

And you're completely over reacting.

There is no worse feeling than water being close to your car door or house only to see this guy push his wake into your house or car.

I expected much worse in the video from the reaction in this thread.

actually breaking the law
I see several people saying this, but is there an actual law on the books that prohibits causing a wake while driving on a semi-flooded street?
I'm not defending the guy, as it does appear he was a bit of a prick, but he is actually following proper procedure for fording high water - keep the crest of the wave just in front of the vehicle.
I suspect he was a guy that just wanted to get home and not spend several hours stuck in some flooded section of New Orleans. And as much bitching as I see in this thread, I didn't see that he caused any damage.

what if the dude was carrying a dying child to the hospital because the flooding had caused its dialysis machine to lose power?

Not going to happen. Everyone has to turn to the internet and destroy this business over one employee's actions

Oh then it's totally cool.
Guy was fired according to the company's Facebook page

I can think of plenty of worse feelings than water getting in my house.
