It doesn't constantly flood you moron. Wow I guess you think we wrestle with alligators daily, and ride boats to work huh? I've lived here for 41 years, my mother for 65, my grandmother for 99. Not one of us has ever flooded genius.

That's a bit of a stretch comparison.

Dude made a stupid mistake during a natural event. Maybe he's not from New Orleans, maybe he's never experienced a flood. Who the frick knows?

Was he intentionally trying to be a dick? Probably not.

The driver in this video isn't the first to make a dumb mistake.

Take a fricking chill pill.

Not at all. You are ok with him not being disciplined because the video didn't show damage caused

So driving drunk with no damage on video is no biggie either

Guy breaks the law and potentially causes damage to people's home by breaking said law

People calling him out on social media suffer from mob mentality and are just crying for attention

Makes total sense

OT, never change

I like the fact he turns on the one way street without hesitation

I see nothing wrong with his driving. Stay moving and drive out. Slow down and suck in a bunch of water, flood the engine.

I would have done the same thing

Did you see his options to the right? Looked flooded even worse.

Why is that such a bad thing? The water is already high and in houses and cars, it isn't gonna make anything worse by creating a wake.

Just curious, but do you know the law he is breaking?

Rather obvious the driver took an illegal left turn down a one way street. Then has to veer left to avoid hitting the tow truck / wrecker.

Regarding driving fast and pushing water into people's homes and cars, he broke the common sense rule of having no respect for people's property - essentially he's an azzhat

I literally live in the absolute lowest of the lowest part of New Orleans, the bottom of the bowl and the water didn't even get over the curb on my street.

It doesn't matter where you live. 8-10 inches of rain in 2 hours, no pumping system in the world could keep up with that.

On another note, gotta love the narrator's colorful commentary.

expected much worse in the video from the reaction in this thread.

Let your house or car flood or be near flooding and see this jackass driving thru your neighborhood like this. People reacting in this thread have likely been there. It's a common courtesy to respect your neighbors property in a situation like that.
