It begins on December 25 and ends on The Epiphany (12 days of Christmas). The prior 4 weeks are Advent Season

I celebrate Christmas even though I'm an atheist and I doubt that Jesus existed at all.
For the record, I also doubt that the Buddha or Abraham existed. I'm a little iffy on Muhammad's existence, if only because I'm not sure why anybody would have wanted to make up the existence of such a hideous man.

I don't care about stores putting up Xmas decorations early. If they weren't selling the stuff and had a business reason to have it out, they wouldn't do it. I do care if stores are playing Christmas music, though. That is insane, and this is coming from someone that absolutely loves Christmas music. I don't let myself start playing it until after Thanksgiving, though. I don't want to get burned out on it. I can't imagine what the workers in the store think about it.
