No married man with kids is away for "months" at a hunting camp in a calendar year.

Yes. Getting fricking irate angry a 17 year old doesn’t pick your school

Missing weddings and other important life events because “it’s at the same time as the big game”

Etc etc

It’s just as “pathetic” as being obsessed with Disney

Grown men who spazz out over Pokemon and Super Hero Films deserves a mention.

To me a grown man obsessed with Disney is typically a better dad than one who hides at the hunting camps for months of the year because he is obsessed with “hunting”.
Well that’s a stupid comparison. What about the grown man who is at the camp (let’s just say even though it’s ridiculous) for months who also involves his young sons and daughters and heck maybe even his wife?

Its just so trashy

You should be taking your family to Monte Carlo, Rome, and Paris to give your kids culture

I don't think OP is talking about dads taking their kids to Disney.

Ever see 500 cheerleaders do the "wobble" dance?

The Magic Kingdom is so named because it makes all your money disappear.

Disney is guilty of giving girls unreasonable expectations. They aren't all princesses.

Hobbies and obsession are two different things

Is there anything more odd than a grown man obsessed with Disney? I have seen a few adult men with Disney tattoos as well. Just overall weird to me....

I like Alabama football but think it’s weird when fans have tattoos of Bear Bryant. Most things taken to the extreme are weird.

I haven’t been to WDW in 7-8 years and have no plans to return any time soon, but there’s plenty for adults to enjoy when the crowds are reasonable and the weather is comfortable.

Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Back Lot Tour, Soarin’, Expedition Everest, and several others are all great rides.

There are plenty of great hotels on property and dozens of nice restaurants. There are also golf courses, water parks, etc.

It may not be everyone’s idea of a good time (absolutely nothing is) but I don’t think there’s anything inherently weird about adults going to Disney.

What about grown men who collect toys? Asking for a friend.

For the people who have been 20 plus times it's more about being part of an imaginary club than Disney itself. The feeling of belonging fills a subconscious need.

Whatever. I guess an attempt can be made to compare rabid college football fans wearing college football gear everywhere to Disneyphiles taking yearly pictures wearing mouse ears in the Magic Kingdom next to Aladdin, but I believe most people will think one is more age-appropriate than the other.
