Is there anything more odd than a grown man obsessed with Disney? I have seen a few adult men with Disney tattoos as well. Just overall weird to me....

My close friend, who I never expected, has become a Disney dad. It's freaking hilarious. They even have the embroidered shirts with their names. LMAO. To each their own. But I constantly frick with him about it and he gets pissed!

I went to school with a girl who was married to regular ole Baw that likes all same shite most do around here. She seemed to always enjoy that kind of stuff too. She cheats with coworker and ends up marrying the new guy. He is obsessed with Disney. They go twice a year with our without kids, preferably without, and he’s got the tattoos!! Blows my mind, but to each his own.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again….

It’s no worse than a guy that is obsessed with a college football team, for a school he may or may not have gone too. It’s not worse than a guy who spends potentially thousands of dollars on leases, equipment, etc to go freeze his arse off and kill an animal.

At the end of the day if whatever someone is into doesn’t affect your life- who gives a shite.

Going to hit a nerve with this one

Based on this board Baton Rouge is the US epicenter of Disney-as-status-symbol culture.

Generally speaking, the adults I know that are obsessed with Disney are "adults" that still act like children. They fret about "big" adult decisions and are terrified of having to do "adult" things. They still see themselves as their parent's child rather than their own adult selves.

FTR, I loved taking my first child to Disney World and look forward to do so with my second. But NOTHING about that trip was about me. It was about making sure the child had as much fun as possible. I get no personal joy out of eating hamburgers at Belle's castle or riding an innertube with Elsa. My joy comes from watching my child have a great time.

Good friend's daughter had a job at Disneyland playing Snow White. She quit because of all the older men creepers.

Yeah I don't know anyone that goes to Disneyland or Disney World.

Put me on a Carnival Cruise over Disney no question about it.

Being obsessed with Disney is weird.

But I cannot deny that it’s a cool place.
