No one, really.

I imagine JB was talking about people, men in particular, who travel with a pillow under one arm while rolling or carrying their other stiff with the other hand.

Just odd to see a grown man do that, but whatever.

I find it amazing how many grown men (over 18) wear their pajamas to the airport. I mean is it really that hard to wake up 30 minutes earlier and put on a pair of slacks or jeans and a presentable shirt?

There are plenty enough men in this world with neck and back problems that it makes sense you would see some of them traveling with their own pillow.

How bout you take off that white wig and climb down from your judge's bench.

Took me forever and lots of wasted money before I found a memory foam pillow that doesn't kill my neck after a multi-level cervical fusion. Everywhere I go that doesn't involve a plane, that pillow is coming with me.

Exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. Not that it bothers or concerns me. I find it more of an interesting observation of people. Airports are the literal aquariums of human life after all. That being said, it is the OT and some people are bound to hate on you for posting, not posting or merely breathing air and living in Baton Rouge. It's all good.

Sitting in MIA and continue to be amazed at the number of people who travel with a pillow. Especially grown men. What is the deal?

You can argue all day long that a hotel pillow is nasty but isn't that what a pillow case is all about? Not to mention, how nasty is your personal pillow after dragging it through the airport, plane, taxi, etc?

Do you find this strange? Do you travel with a pillow, what are you thinking?

I fly as light as possible (no checked luggage unless I'm gone for at least a week) so there's no way in hell I would bring a pillow with me on a flight.

Driving for a weekend or overnight trip though, I may because my pillow is damned comfortable while the comfort level of pillows at my destination is usually a crap shoot (especially when staying with my mother and step-father, their pillows are flatter than a pancake).

This. There's two things I refuse to be without after enduring med school and residency. A/C and mf'ing lots of pillows

At the airport smackoverhawg carries a pillow under his arm and a stethoscope around his neck.

I don't find it strange at all. I find it strange that you worry about looking manly in the airport.

Grown arse men do what the frick they want.

This really can't be said enough. Whether it be cargo shorts, my workout routine, my travel habits, my wife's gender reveal party, or any other meaningless thing people complain about on here, I do what I want and applaud those men who couldn't give a rats arse what anyone thinks. I know this is a forum, but the complaining gets so tiresome.

Same. I don't fly with them, but I'll bring one in the car.

Sleep on tempurpedic or some other good memory foam pillow for 10 years then try and use shitty hotel pillows, let me know how it works out.

No. I travel as light and quickly as possible. Handling a pillow would be a giant pain in the arse.

Not if you sit on it.

You get used to sleeping on a certain type of pillow.

Air travel isn't what it used to be. People are crammed in as close as possible to get more people on board to make more money. I don't give a single flying frick what I look like on an airplane. I'm about to go hurtling through the air at 600 mph wedged between Fat frick and Crying Baby. I'll wear the most comfortable clothes I own.
