So should we dump all that trash on land? I don't live in the fricking ocean.

Yeah, won't the other barrier reefs be offended because it 's implied they aren't as great?
Other barrier reefs matter!

Are they gonna have a 5 minute commercial for this featuring Sarah Mclachlan, slow music, and sad fish to make me feel like an a-hole?

literally just got back from a 3-day diving trip there yesterday, and while it was full of life and color, it was definitely clear that a ton of the coral was dying or already dead. Go and see it soon before all of it dies! heres a photo my dive buddy took where you can see the alive coral, the bleached coral and the dead stuff

I'm not sure if your ignorance about the Old 97's is willful or not, but you should enlighten yourself.

Not to mention, reefs provide protection to shorelines shielding a lot of people from the worst of what the ocean can throw at you. Also, reefs provide us with a shite-ton of seafood every year.

Fake News.

I do not believe these reports, whose political motivation is to advance the Climate Change agenda.

The Earth has changed a lot over the millions of years. Eventually the Great Barrier Reef will be just another limestone deposit.
