The houses are reasonably well kept. Right across the street off of Ford St and Silverleaf is a pretty bad ghetto though.

Someone was killed on Ford St in a double shooting back in June of this year. That’s pretty close to Plank.

But now, Barrow has a race – and it’s a race to the bottom, as our favorite wannabe poverty pimp Gary Chambers is now campaigning against her.

whether it re-elects Barrow or makes a change and gives Chambers an official platform – District 15 will be represented by one of the worst members of the entire Senate.

It is somewhat noteworthy that Chambers somehow thinks North Baton Rouge has paid the freight for what will eventually be St. George, when the math quite obviously shows the opposite to be true.

But math has never been a strong suit in District 15. That’s one reason District 15 is well and truly screwed.

That was two textbook examples of someone "talking out their arse". Total jibberish and just to be talking.

I looked at the St. George facebook page. Bunch of OT'ers up on there.

I think Barrow handily wins district 15, but they are not going to become better with either. Gravy is already an enemy of BRPD, so curbing violence will not happen. Will not happen with basketball either. Barrow will just enjoy another few years of free meals and handouts and public appearances at meaningless events. Sure sounds like Gravy's cup of tea.

That is funny.

Sad part is these morons setup a NBR economic development district which they receive tax dollars for it.

What have they done with that money?

No one is questioning the lack of results that this board has produced with tax dollars?

He basically paid again sitting on a board getting paid to do something for NBR and all he does is blame other people.

Guess what he receives tax dollars known as the people’s money to produce results!

Could he have attracted
- grocery stores to NBR
YES, BUT HE ATE THEM
- attract mfg businesses that require low skilled labor to the Choctaw warehouse district which has railroad access that could employ people in NBR?
NOT QUALIFIED TO DO THE JOB OR THE COMPANIES COULD NOT AFFORD THE BUFFET FOR HIM.

Why is someone not asking for a legislative audit of the NBR economic development district?

Because investigating a clearly corrupt board doesn’t happen in this state much. Even less so if it is clearly Democrat and/or minority.

If people investigated shite like that, Southern wouldn’t exist anymore.

He didnt even have insurance on his car during a traffic stop, which amazingly, he filmed. How do you expect his business to be to the letter?

He took it down right after he started getting a ton of pushback about being an arse, even from his own people

Too bad for him someone snagged it and uploaded it to YouTube

Businesses have left NBR in huge numbers. Gravy can find an endless supply of villains to blame, but he misses one thing. A business will stay open, and continue to operate, if they are making money.

If he wants to get to the bottom of it, he should speak with the former business owners and ask them why they had to close. He should approach the corporate offices of the big grocery chains and find out why they had to close. He should ask the restaurant owners that re-located to other areas why they felt the need to do so.

He will find a common denominator, but he will never get on Facebook and bellyache about that.
