They plan on trying to tie this up in the legal system for years.
St. G. needs to file a Motion for Security for costs when they do. They should also ask for 863 sanctions against all plaintiffs and their attorneys.

there are going to be voting/disparate impact claims. you can bet on that. they're going to challenge the process.
what's really going to frick StG is if JBE gets to appoint their leadership prior to a vote and they make a bunch of bad deals with EBR/BR

No, what he advocates for is black control but with white money.

He’a already laying the blame groundwork for his election loss. Apparently people, or other candidates are taking his signs down.

Not going to lie, I kind of want one. No chance I’m driving to his district to get one though

Of course. It’s all the people in st George that throw their trash all over NBR. It’s the St. George people shooting young men in the middle of the day in NBR.
It’s their fault that the illegitimacy rate is almost 80%. Their fault that the students don’t care and come from broken homes that don’t value education,

The St. George area looks like one of any number of nice middle class places that are found all over this country. And statistically, it's not really different either. It's only until you get past Florida blvd, Government st., etc that Baton Rouge becomes a dump.

I love his mentality that all the economic development in the area is straight from govt subsidies.

No voting districts will be impacted.
The C-P council districts, judges, legislative, and school board will not be impacted.

This is my concern. It would be typical Democrat to put bunch of deadhead Dems in charge of an overwhelmingly Republican city.

I'm just curious about what legal challenge they could come up with?
Since there are already four incorporated areas, Baker, Zachary, Central and Baton Rouge, incorporating St. George would violate the Plan of Government.
I researched the Plan of Government and that provision limiting the number of municipalities within EBR Parish to four was adopted as an amendment to the Plan of Government by a parish wide vote in 1972 when there were only three incorporated areas within EBR. I bookmarked the section with that amendment on my computer but I’m on my iPad tonight and don’t feel like looking it up to link right now.
When MOP said that the St. George spokesman, (Murrill I believe was his name) agreed the limiting provision does exist but he believes it is unconstitutional because he says the state law which establishes how incorporations are accomplished supercedes local laws which would prevent an incorporation.
Many billable hours to follow....

It’s always someone else’s fault. If the black community in NBR would take some responsibility then there might be some hope. But it’s easy to scream racism and blame whites, so that’s what they do. Why should the good people of SBR continue to have their tax dollars wasted in the shite hole that is NBR? Let’s see them create their own little Wakanda on the Mississippi River without help from the “racists” in St. George.

No, no, no.
Everyone in St. George needs to hear this.

Isn’t that what they wanted? Wakanda that they controlled without all the crackers to ruin it?

Not disputing what you posted, but I thought the ordinance limited the cities to three, and Central challenged the ordinance and won.
Are you sure?
