it’s nice to have options beyond people you bump into.

Calling it a “cultural tragedy” seems unnecessarily dramatic.

Online dating is just a tool. You can use a tool for good or for bad. A lot of people are using it for bad but some have used it for good.

The tool isn’t the problem, the people are

I met my wife on Bumble. The gal I dated for a few months before I met my wife had introduced herself by grabbing my butt while waiting in line for the portacans while tailgating.

Is this married people or fricking? I have to think the married numbers are a little higher for everything else.

That’s shocking to me that college is literally the lowest

That was just 10 years ago when I met my wife in class at LSU

If she is even semi-attractive she was bored out like a 350 chevy by tons of guys before you married her. Congrats.

College meetup ftw. Would've never thought the number would be that low, its the most social interactions I've ever had in my life by far

because she was on Bumble? You do realize that most chicks on bumble are very reluctant to even meet a "match" in person??

I say it’s a tragedy because in the world of apps you’re always looking for better. You can find a beautiful woman with a decent career. However you’re into bigger butts so you pass on here to find something better on the app.

Same for women, the girl next door is now unattainable. She went from the cute girl in your town to now having options across the globe. The regular guy isn’t enough for her anymore and always looking for something better.

Met the wife at Fred’s in Tigerland, late 90s. Never did the online thing. Around that time everyone I knew thought the online thing was creepy. Weird dude in moms basement type creepy.

If I ever had to get back in the dating game, I’d probably use it. But, with everything I heard and read lately, based on my income, height, etc. it would probably be more useful as hookup resource. Beats going out and working for it though.
