Yep I absolutely love day drinking on bourbon watching games.
This happened at 2am not 2pm.

It's already illegal to consume alcohol and be in possession of a firearm.
We need better leaders. Ones that aren't afraid to tackle the tough issues.

Ann Kirkpatrick is the worst hire in the history of hiring for any job, ever.

I watching this on WAFB this morning , the News Anchor Matt said she was also quoted as saying “ They were in the wrong place at the wrong time “. WTF? You’re a tourist city.
That is shameful... how is a visitor going to know that?

The City needs to pass an ordinance banning weed in the quarter. That would clean things up very fast.

Would make a catchy song lyric

Bourbon St hasn't had any murders in months. But that area of the street isn't the place I'd want to walk around after 10pm.

Policing a tourist area like the FQ isn’t rocket science.
Last time I went out there, there was tons of state police and even some wild life and fisheries guys.
But think that’s only b/c of Jeff Landry.

They were here to celebrate in our fabulous city
pretty ballsy to still refer to it as our fabulous city in this context.

It’s the most famous street in the city. There should never be a time to say this.

this could apply to literally anywhere at any time in New Orleans

That incompetent Kunt needs to be fired yesterday. She has blood on her hands. Any idiot paying attention knows the first 3 blocks off of Canal is a dark hell hole shooting gallery the last few years. I cannot fathom why they don't station a permanent police presence there.

That's just following a long list of stupid comments by Louisiana leaders.
My favorite remains Gov. Blanco's statement the day after Katrina caused the floods in New Orleans, With a very concerned look, she called for the next day to be a day of prayer.
With good common sense, she was ignored.
It may be harder to ignore the so-called police chief, but you can try.
