LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A grand jury has indicted a former high-ranking Livingston Parish deputy and his wife, who accused of sex crimes against children, on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The jury indicted Dennis Perkins on 78 felonies and his wife, Cynthia Perkins, on 72 felonies.
Perkins was facing 60 counts of child pornography charges and rape involving a juvenile under the age of 13. Cynthia Perkins, a former Livingston Parish school teacher, was also being held on similar charges.
A grand jury’s indictment is not a conviction. The indictment simply means that the prosecution can move forward with the case.
Perkins was originally booked into the Livingston Parish Prison, but due to “safety reason,” was relocated to Elaine Hunt Correctional Facility, a state facility, in Ascension Parish.

Let him go to jail for the rest of his life. A cop who raped children would NOT do well in prison at all.

I am shocked! Thought he would walk for sure based on news reports.

Seriously! Why are we wasting time and tax dollars to let these two still breath?

again, you're watching too many movies. They aren't going to send him to gen pop at Angola or the LP jail. He'll likely get sent to a facility for cops and politicians. While he may get assaulted, he's not gonna get arse-raped by Bubba or shanked by some vigilante convict.
All these fantasies about him (or any other perp) getting "justice" in prison are stupid.

He keeps losing deputies to stand by him at the presser due to front yard shenanigans.

People love the mob vigilante mentality until the time comes that the mob is directed at them.

Too bad their victims had no protection....Hopefully "they'll" get these two LP freaks before they get that far.

Fine, after their day in court (and I am not talking about running appeals for the next 20 years), then can we just take them out back?

Sure, if they are convicted of kid diddling I’m all for stringing them up in town square
