Meanwhile I'm retired and live in Baton Rouge a couple miles away from Tiger Stadium, although there aren't any sidewalks in my neighborhood, and I live in an 85 year old pier and beam cottage. I drive a 22 year old truck, although I get all my groceries on my bicycle.

My toilet runs, and my tub faucet drips, but that helped keep the pipes from freezing last month. I did have to turn the thermostat down to 50 and put a portable radiator under it to keep the furnace from staying on the whole time when the temps went into the single digits, because my house doesn't even have a sub-floor..

I don't care for Andy Griffith, but I do enjoy westerns on Grit and Outlaw TV. I'll also catch Svengoolie on Saturday nights when I'm home and it's a decent flick. When all you have is rabbit ears, you don't really pay much attention to the TV as much as just have it on in the background. Just as well, I learned years ago that cable TV was just the same stupid shite as antenna TV, just 10 times more of it.

Good luck with your shovel, seems like you'll need it with all the shite you put out.
