This helps SG line up things once the judge rules in their favor and SG becomes a city.

It’s good to see it pass, but there’s still more that has to happen for SG to be a full go. It’s up to the courts now.

Somewhere I had read that people felt Edwards would sign this bill. It wasn’t totally unexpected.

To think, if it weren’t for a couple heinous counts dragging it thru court, the Oasis could be prospering as we speak.

They must still have a few concessions and annexations they think they can get before they give up the charade.

Because even the organizers thought the best that would happen would be that JBE wouldn't sign the bill and it would become law by default. It was a shocker.

BR Business Report had it a few weeks ago when the bill passed.
If it’s that important you can look there.

New to the area. Just bought a house near Old Jefferson and Hoo Shoo Too. Would this area be covered by this?

Can someone explain to me the backstory/reasoning behind this? I mean I'm all for saying frick you to some Democrat mayor but just curious.

Yes, you will be in the City of St George if the judge rules in St George’s favor.

Whole thing started over getting an Independent School district.

Then it grew into lack of services and a lot of tax dollars are generated in this are while not being spent in the area.
