As bad as Landry is, I don’t see us having better options. That’s how he got elected

JBE was awful. Landry has had more economic development in first year than JBE in 8. State actually added population last not much but at least not losing Crime is down. Could we do better Absoiutely but not tell me JBE was good.

Upside down pin!?! Wow. You really got him this time! What a zinger!
Show us where Jeff touched you.
The hate for the guy on this board approached severe TDS.

What do you like about Jeff Landry outside of him "triggering the libs"?

Triggering the libs is enough

It’s so great that some of you have essentially become the “edgy atheist” stereotype you claim to hate

Being the edgy stereotype is also enough

There we better options in the 2023 Election. At least two, possibly three.

JBE may have been a D in name

Accept for maybe abortion JBE would always bend the knee to the Dem party when told. He was a party first guy. White Dems in red states run as moderates for state wide elections and then govern or represent as liberals or worse. They often get away with due to media’s complicity in covering up their true liberal positions over the years. Tried over and over with Beto in Texas. If they were actually Moderates they would have been forced out by leftists or at least would have become Independents like the former Senators from West Virginia and Arizona.

Voting is important on every level.

Our legislature has a lot of power.

Mayors and council members make influential decisions on a local level.

But, turnout is usually low and voters are so uninformed that they are only voting for the letter behind the name.

There may have been but Jeff’s ground game took what ever air those other republican candidates had and minimized it. Jeff won fair and square and won it without needing a runoff.

Jeff can be a little odd at times, but he is a politician. He knows how to ride the fence of being man of the people and falling in line with the people that butter his bread (the ambulance chasing attorneys). That why we will never see true insurance reform to help with rates. Any changes that would pass would help the attorney class first before helping customers.
