I prefer Dudley DeBosier. They’re the official injury lawyers of the LSU Fightin’ Tigers.

I live in small rural parish. We have no cases. This is ridiculous for here.
Restaurants also ease the burden on grocery stores as an alternative food source.

You can still do takeout and delivery from restaurants.

At this point, you are just in denial.
Nah, hospital beds aren't overrun and won't be.
If you did any panic buying, you already have it.

Although, I feel like every cook needs to be tested before handling food or else you are doing nothing by "closing the restuarants"
I just dip my food in bleach before eating. It works most of the time.

Yeah like wtf would they do if he did?

If it’s so deadly
Didn't say it was deadly so I don't expect bodies to pile up.

I mean, we were exposed to it over Mardi Gras so it should already be at near epidemic levels now?
CDC/WHO already called it a pandemic (that's higher category than an epidemic btw)

Are our hospitals overrun? No?
We are on the same trajectory as Italy at the moment.. If that trajectory continues, we WILL get to that point. Understand? If hospitals never get overrun, that's a win for both of us. I hope I'm proven wrong because that means social distancing worked.
Arguing that this is an overreaction right now because the numbers aren't bad is not the point. The precautions you are bitching about are in place to prevent those numbers from coming to fruition

I’m pissed I already did my taxes now.

I’m a healthy 32 year old. The worst it’s going to be for me is a cough a fever and I feel bad for 5 days. You’d never see me in the ICU.
I also have quarantined myself away from my wife’s grand father and her uncle who is immunodeficient due to a medicine he takes.
I’m not some galavanting idiot like you think “everyone who is not shitting that pants like me” over this is

If they end up not being overrun, it's because smart people (unlike yourself) implemented social distancing successfully

Limiting 50 people to grocery stores is going to be a chore.

Then (God forbid) If we have to start war triage in hospitals, people will wish they would have listened.

Why are so many assholes coming into threads lying that takeout/delivery are also shut down?

No we aren’t. Population densities and just our social behaviors differ drastically from them.

So in your mind none of this could ever be proven to be an overreaction. How convenient.
