Yep that’s where I saw it, remember now. I caught it right as I was leaving work.

Diocese of Lafayette suspends Mass until April 13.
Am I wrong for being very disappointed in them for this? It just does not seem right that they would deny us the Sacraments over this or really even over something much worse.

Literally a First World oroblem.
There are places where it's a huge deal when the priest makes it to town. And barring a total lock down you can make arrangements for Reconciliation.

Eh. You're implying I'm acting spoiled, and I will ponder that criticism.
To defend myself I will say you're comparing a situation in which it isn't possible to one in which it's entirely possible and normal to provide the Sacraments daily and they are choosing not to "out of an abundance of caution".
It seems wrong to live in fear that way. Prudence is a virtue, but in moderation.
I'm thinking of martyrs, Edward Campion, etc.

Considering only old people are die hard Catholics these days yes you are wrong. Because they will go and get themselves killed at church.

Yesterday I had a nephew that had to fly out of BR. He was the only person on the flight.
Delta lost money there. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

This is my mother. I asked her where she went the other day. Only church was her answer. I am curious to see what she does now. I read somewhere the catholic diocese is shutting down masses.

They shut down masses here. They have hours set aside that the church will be open for people to go do their prays here.
