Phase 1 includes:
Schools will continue to distance learning.
Visits to senior living facilities remain prohibited.
Elective surgeries can resume.
Movie theaters will remain closed.
Restaurants will open for outdoor seating (6 ft. apart) and indoor seating with 25 % capacity.
Retailers can operate at 25 % of indoor capacity.
No change for bars, gyms, and personal services for now.
Vulnerable individuals should avoid close contact with people outside the home.
All individuals, when in public, should maximize physical distance.
Avoid socializing in groups of more than 10 people that do not readily allow for physical distancing.
Face masks are recommended (not required or mandated) for all face-to-face interactions.

So who is going to go around every restaurant with a calculator to enforce this? If i had a small business I'd be wide open to see who would tell me to do otherwise.

This seems to be the "standard" many states are using.
I did see where South Florida isn't going to be part of this for now. Makes sense.

Probably the same people who go around to enforce food quality standards and capacity.

That sounds like a good plan to me.

There's not enough enforcement from different agencies to inspect what they expect. Most likely an honor system and you'll also have an occasional snitch probably report a violating offender, especially with social media.
I suspect that fines and loss of occupancy license may be dangled as punitive measures if "caught."

Ever been to a chinese food restaurant? I'd like my chances

It’s no coincidence, phase 1 is based on guidelines from the White House.

I'm sure in most areas they will allow flexibility.
When Nola opens back up, I can picture LaToya sending out a whole army of meter maids with tape measures to enforce and ticket places that aren't in compliance.

Going to guess the thread of losing your license and business is a pretty strong motivator to avoid breaking the guidelines

Are you saying that DeSantis plans to start, that this is DeSantis' plan to start, or that this plan is titled The Gov. Desantis Plan to Start?
