I have no idea how that one is still in business. I never had a good experience there.

Millerville Chili’s has great food and service.

Location and demographics make huge differences in service and quality at any chain restaurant. I’ve had outstanding service and food quality at certain Popeyes, Chili’s, Outback, etc but it was 100% because of the quality of the labor pool. It makes all the difference.

Chilis and Texas Roadhouse are the last two sit down chains that are still worth a shite

Can we bring back the original crispers though

Ate at Chilis yesterday for lunch.
Did notice they changed the pickle recipe.
Other that it is a really decent product for the price you pay IMO

Got rid of skillet queso. Will not be back till they bring it back.

Saw an ad last week that said they brought it back due to demand.

If Chili’s can do this for $11 then fast food can make a simple burger for $6.
Fast food needs to lower their profit expectations and they would actually make more money
You aren't paying for the food you are paying for the convenience of not having to get out of your car.

All that food for the same price as a box combo from Canes

We stopped in at Applebee’s for dinner Saturday night. I had their mushroom Swiss burger. Not the best, but still pretty good.
As for Chili’s, I’ve heard they’ve gotten much better in the last couple of years. Back 20 years ago their chicken crispers was one of my go-to meals. But then they changed the recipe on them and they became just another chicken finger. Not sure how they made them back then, but I wish they’d go back to it.

quote:Blame the left and their "livable wage" whining. McJobs aren't meant to be careers. The corporations have forced their franchisees to take on the increased costs dictated by the company...while refusing to offset part of those investments in their royalties.

I was editing some pre-Covid football games the other day and the ads put it into perspective. $2.49 triple cheeseburgers...$1.29 McDoubles....$1 four piece nuggets...2 for $4 Arby's sandwiches. All of this before the $15 per hour push/Covid stimulus inflation. They scream about livable wages and "the rich killing the middle class" but it's been the rich staying rich and the politicians making the lower middle class into the upper poor. It's a nasty cycle that is now making eating out tolerable only for the upper middle class while a luxury for everyone else.

Paying menu price for fast food is like paying sticker price for a car. Gotta use the apps, know daily deals, etc… it can still be had for cheap.

Chilis salsa slaps, though.

it’s truly one of the only restaurants that when I leave I feel I am satistifed and happy with paying
the kids meal isn’t jacked up in price and my two kids share it and they never charge me for a second kids drink… my wife gets soup and salad I get a burger or chicken crispers … chips and salsa are free with the rewards program … checkout is fast at the table … service is great, always asks if I want chips and salsa to go or drinks to go for me and my kids … with tip out the door for $40-$50, which is barely more than what we pay for family at Chick Fil A or Canes or McDonlads at this point

I can't remember the last time I had fast food. When I don't cook I'm at the Mexican joint, Chili's or there is this cool black dude that pulls up into the liquor store parking lot on the weekends with his BBQ rig that is straight killing ribs, Mac n Cheese and collard greens.

Chili’s in FWB/Mary Esther is freaking outstanding. 3 for me is worth every dime

I’m shocked at the many positive comments on this board for a basic chain restaurant.
