So I've been having a minor cramping feeling in my right side for the past couple days and I couldn't figure out what it was. Got a CT today and they said it's a small kidney stone. I asked if they knew the exact size and they said it was "too small to measure". They gave me 12 norcos and told me to drink a ton of water. Right now my pain is about a 1 out 10 but I'm just nervously waiting for shite to hit the fan. Anyone ever had a stone start out like this? What kind of pain should I be expecting?

everyone is different. If its as small as they say it is, just drink a bunch of water and wait for it to pass. They pain can be unbearable for some and others tolerate it better

You'll probably pass it without realizing you did it. Pain shouldn't be much worse than what you are experiencing now and what caused you to get it checked out. If it was big and bad, you would know it already.

Get some flomax. Drink a lot of beer. Serious about the beer.

Had them twice and that shite was no joke. Changed my diet and haven't had them in 15 yrs. Lay off the caffeine and drink plenty of cranberry juice. Good luck!
