Super pumped. Did not expect it to come back a PSA 10 as they are super strict graders. It shows value as $161,000 on the PSA site. I have serious doubts it'd sell for that, but I think I can get $35,000 to $40,000 for it. Im never this lucky. Feels awesome to finally get a win.

I’ll give you a Fleer Danny Darwin rookie and a 1986 Topps Bret Saberhagen for it. Both gem mint

What I wasn't a big fan of was PSA charges you $1,000 if you get a Gem Mt PSA 10 grade on a card with value of over $15k on top of the $60 you pay to get each card graded. I emailed that this doesn't feel right. It should be the same cost whether it grades a PSA 2 or PSA 10 regardless of the price tag.

Is that true? What could possibly be the justification for the extra charge? That’s blatant theft.

The fact that people are willing to pay that much for mass produced cardboard is mind blowing

The best athlete the game has seen, he was a starting point guard in college too.

Tony Gwynn wasn’t even the best athlete the Padres team had ever seen, much less “the game”.
