re: Likely outcome

LSU by 10+ if on neutral field

Let's look this objectively:
LSU offense has put up 640 then 530 yards on offense with turnovers although that is unlike Sam looking at past seasons, and troubles in redzone last week when LT completely sold out on the run there

LSU 1st team D has let up 97 total yards and 0 points, averaging 47 yards allowed per game and 0 points is salty even if you're playing a high school team

Ole Miss beat a seemingly decent Lou team.
Ole Miss let up 38 points to Lou, and 330 yards to 1-11 last year Charlotte
Chambliss obviously talented and turns it up when it matters most. I have yet to see if Leavitt has this gene as he hasn't needed it, but maybe ASU vs Texas in CFP shows he may have it, as ASU should've won that game if not for blatant missed targeting the refs didn't throw because they knew how much the media has a hard on for Texas due to nostalgia of the 60s and 70s college football, and a time that once was.

I think LSU offense will be able to replicate or get close to Lou, so I'll say 31 to 35 points.

Having watched LSU defense, I don't see any team in the SEC putting up over 20. Could be wrong, but they are straight salty.

LSU 34
Ole Miss 20.

That'd be my neutral site prediction, so adjust for homefield like this, I'll give 4 points.
So either:
LSU 30 Ole Miss 20
or
LSU 34 Ole Miss 24

Trinison'de Baker has his hands full.
Why? What did LSU have against FSU in 1982? What do you mean many 15 yarders? 15 yard throws of oranges? or penalties on LSU fans?
There's a lot unexplained here that I think you think everyone else knows, but doesn't. That's 10 to 11 years before I was born.
All you need is a local judge who scored a 17 on the ACT and in your local college town that knows his entire career rides on pleasing the township, and a fanbase that'll do anything to hold onto relevancy.

You can make up a sickness you had 4 years ago that you never bothered to file until a pile of $5 million was placed in front of you. It really is that easy. You can literally make up anything. As long as you went to a doctor or dentist one single time in your 4 to 5 years playing career, you can twist that visit into being anything that a local judge will sign off on.

TrinisonofLSU is not gonna have a good time verse a 1st team defense that's averaging 47 total yards per game allowed and either 0 or 1.5 points depending if you count the field goal that came off Leavitt INT that was within LSU's 30 yardline and LSU actually pushed the offense back 2 yards for a 4th and 12 FG.
Yea Im unaware of any federally recognized reservationn land in Louisiana

You know who else beat Northwestern State? An NAIA team LSU defense is good, but that game tells you absolutely nothing.

Charlotte went 1-11 last year. I'd be willing to bet a lot that La Tech would take Charlotte to the woodshed.

MS Delta. Do you know how many wealthy people there that can put a stop to this. Again troll.

Isn't that the literal poorest place in the US?
It's not a delta. A delta is the end of a river going into the ocean. The landmass they refer to as the Delta in MS, is 300 to 350 miles from the actual MS delta.
The thing with Bama during Sabans' prime say 2011 to 2021, was you just knew you were going to lose beforehand. And if you were up, that somehow you'd blow the lead. Now some teams did beat them, but felt like the game was over before it started. Nobody remotely feels that way about Texas.
Texas hasn't won an SECG or Nati, so this isn't even 1/10th the way there.
If Miss St beats a top half SEC team, then I will consider them a threat. Until that, you just never know if it's a fluke game.

You won't figure that out until the Bama game. Idk if I consider Missou top half SEC, actually I dont.

Texas
UGA
LSU
Bama
Ole Miss
TAMU
Tenn
OU

That's top half. Who knows MSU could join with a good season.
What is that saying women use in the dating world today "We don't owe you anything." Welp, Sark doesn't owe her an interview. Works both ways.
What you're doing is called cherry picking. It's what people do when they're losing an argument lol. Of course even top 25 defenses give up more points to the top 25 offenses.

There's a reason they finished 24th accounting for all. This year is night and day better defense though, lights out.

Also conveniently cut it off at 20 to purposefully exclude Arkansas, when Top 25 is standard, not Top 20.

When including #23 Arkansas, it's 31.5 ppg allowed vs Top 25 offenses, is probably again ranked 24th in the country vs T25 offenses

Played 3 top 20 offenses all year, gave up 34.7 ppg

Incorrect, 20.4 ppg on the season allowed, Top 25 finish. Held Ole Miss, Bama, Oklahoma to 24 or under.

This defense though is lightyears better, despite that Defense finishing Top 25 in the country in ppg. This defense hasn't allowed any ppg. It's 2nd/3rd team and a pick 6.

If Blake Baker's past performances against mobile QBs is any indication, then OM blows the doors off of LSU.

If either of the two teams is blowing the other out, it's LSU. Ole Miss defense is not good. And I don't see any offense putting up more than 17 to 20 on this defense.

LSU 1st string defense has allowed 96 total yards and 0 points through 2 games. Not even a length of a football field on around 25 drives. Averaging about 3 to 4 yards per drive. FWIW, La Tech won 80 to 6 vs Northwestern St (who is terrible), but still 80 points is a metric ton. To hold that to negative total yardage at half, then 26 yards by time 2's and 3's came in is good regardless if they're playing a high school. Chambliss and Ole Miss are obviously going to be better than Clemson or LT offense, that's why I'm spotting 17 to 20 and not 0 like the other 2 had on 1st string D.

It's very, very early to say, but this defense may be better than 2011 just without Honey Badger making a D/ST touchdown every other game.

My biggest concern is that Leavitt doesn't turn into a headcase, and the OL play like they did vs Clemson.

LSU offense is good at moving the ball down the field. 640 yards then 530 yards last week. Just had bad turnovers and redzone converting last week.

Final Prediction: LSU 31 Ole Miss 20
LSU 1st string Defense has let up 96 total yards throughout 2 games combined and 0 points (or 3 if you count turnover inside LSU's 30 that the D actually pushed back Clemson after it, for a GF).
When you give a poor person a Ferrari, they typicaly don't respond too well when you take it back. When the appropriate response should've been being grateful that they got it in the first place
Ole Miss crowd's gonna cause LSU to gain some penalty yardage. I'm all for it.
- Superior Grill on Line Ave (will be a good time)
- Oyster Bar on Line Ave
- Superior Steakhouse bar/lounge area if it's adults looking for classier spot (21+)
All 3 of these are within a minute or two drive of each other, and have a local feel.

- Walk ons: has more of a BWW feel these days

I'd say Oyster Bar. Oyster Bar I think has the better TV setup.
This is for LSU's 1st team Defense which got replaced with 5 minutes left in Clemson game and sometime in the early 4th quarter in La Tech game.

Clemson: 70 total yards, 0 points
I consider the 3 points on the field goal to not be on defense as Leavitt threw an INT that gave Clemson the ball inside LSU's 30, then LSU D stonewalled them for negative 2 yards with a made field goal.

La Tech: won week one by an 80 to 6 score vs Northwestern St.
-1 total yards at halftime, 26 total yards, 0 points allowed

These 2 teams combined haven't driven the length of a football field on over 100 minutes of play and have let up 0 or 3 points depending on perspective.

Ole Miss has let up 800 total yards, 330 yards to Charlotte (who went 1-11 last year)
