Never seen a business try to commit suicide like ESPN. SportsCenter used to be can’t miss programming

In my mind their numbers have to be suffering. Everyone I talk to says the same thing. "I used to love ESPN, but now I can't watch it anymore." or something similar.

But at the same time they continue to race bait and push their woke agenda. Seems like if their numbers were actually hurting that bad they would stop this kind of stuff. Maybe going woke is actually helping them.

Women's basketball is just so boring compared to mens. Even the women I know who love basketball don't watch the WNBA.

What about a TSPN?

Safe to assume all the announcers will be female? Jamile Hill returning? Will be curious as to what time of the day this segment will get.

How long has the WBNA been in existence with nobody except some lesbians watching? You'd think they'd get the hint that nobody really cares.

I watched USA vs Korea women's world championship curling last night on the Olympic channel. That's more exciting and fun to watch than any crap they will put on this new network.

I remember when the old stale Progressives who used to deny the existence of this Cultural Revolution would say that if the viewers didn’t want it they wouldn’t be doing it because it all about the money. It’s quaint to remember that people used to truly believe that the bottom line and viewer preference took precedence over Progressive Orthodoxy.

I haven't watched it in over a year. It used to be on my tv most of the time it was on.

The WNBA has been around for 25 years. Is it really highlight visibility that's holding it back?

In those 25 years, a league of 12 teams has seen 11 cities get rid of franchises. Their Finals saw an average viewership of 400k.

Why can't these athletes understand that they are in an ENTERTAINMENT industry (college included). People will watch what they want to watch

Even Orlando only managed to keep their team for 4 years. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit I attended one of their games. A friend of ours won a block of tickets so we as all went and spent a night out on the town. It was pretty tough to watch and my gf didn't find it any more entertaining than I did.

I am so tired of all of this forced shite.

And I actually enjoy a lot of women's sports.
