Here is google's policy about reviews...

Some of the things the owner posted on other platforms could be applied here...
ETA: I found this part interesting.
Half the photos on the reviews are of beer...

The algos pick up the higher than usual ratings and remove them. You have to set reminders to make a random review a few weeks from now and make the review explicitly about the food/beer/service

I left a review last night. It let me leave another one

Trump broke people like him. It’s really sad, honestly.

Courtyard Brewery’s plans for a second location in Mid City are moving forward, and the team behind Turkey and the Wolf will run the kitchen in the restaurant included in its expansion.
Owner Scott Wood told Mid City Messenger that Courtyard cleared its regulatory hurdles with the City Council last week, after getting conditional approval from the City Planning Commission in February to build a nearly 10,000 square-foot bar and restaurant on the Lafitte Greenway.
Wood, who opened the nano-brewery on Erato Street in the LGD four years ago, said he plans to open the more “grown up” second location at 2745 Lafitte Avenue, near Broad Street, by Jazz Fest 2020. Excitingly, the folks behind national sandwich phenom Turkey and the Wolf will run the kitchen, their third in New Orleans after opening breakfast spot Molly’s Rise and Shine on Magazine Street late last year.
Courtyard Brewery Co., as the new location will be called, joins recently-opened beer garden Wrong Iron in new developments along the pedestrian and bicycle thoroughfare.
Turkey and the Wolf owner Mason Hereford told Eater the team behind his LGD hotspot will create and sell the food in the Courtyard’s kitchen, but haven’t been involved in the planning or building of the brewery.

Google does it for everyone, like it or not.
As they should. Their wedding out fake reviews regardless of politics is exactly what corporations should be doing with regards to their products.
The rest of us can spread the word in other ways.

Because people didn't post about the beer. Of course commenting about Charlie Kirk or no comment and just a 1 star review.
People needed to comment about the beer, service, cleanliness, etc if they ant it to stay up. And also wait a week or so to do it.

yall need to stop the flooding of reviews and just set a reminder to do it randomly in a few weeks. when they all come in quickly at a time Google removes them it bulk
(it’s probably not even a person, any deviation in normal review activity is auto flagged by a bot)

Google does this when any business gets flooded with negative reviews. This isn't something out of the ordinary.
Yelp too.
When we brigaded the Worst Biergarten, Yelp whacked the reviews. They just did everything recent - someone took my suggestion of leaving 2 stars to fly under the radar and the post still got removed.
There was a restaurant where the owner's son Cosbyd a 14 year old girl and Yelp locked the review page and removed everything. I tried to leave a positive review under the name "R Polanski" in order to sneak through and get the message across but it wouldn't let me.

Mine is still there but yeah, last night there were about 4k reviews. it's down to 500 or so now.

Some friends of mine have a MAGA themed restaurant in southern Oklahoma. MAGA flags, Trump burger, cardboard cut out of Trump. People are always posting negative reviews that have nothing to do with the food and service. Google removes most of those eventually although I believe they are still up on yelp.

quote:yep. I'm just the opposite of you. I have no interest in yelp.
Do people even go to google for reviews on restaurants and bars? Think yelp is the only one that would have impact
(no pun intended)
