In the market for some new jeans. Anything else worth looking at besides Levi and Wrangler (at Levi and Wrangler prices)?

Nautica makes good, quality and nice looking jeans for less than $50 a pair at Macy's. I have a few pair that are about 3 years old and still going strong. Lee does as well.

Is it a southern/Louisiana thing to call them blue jeans? Do they call them that everywhere? I've always called them that, and years ago my husband laughed at me for it. Said they were just "jeans."

I called him a Yankee for it, but I just do that any time he makes fun of me for using phrases like "fixing to" or "can you pack (carry) this?" He grew up part time in Louisiana but spent about half his childhood in other places. As a 6 year old supposedly he had an English accent bc he lived in there for 3 years. He rhymes roof with hoof. It's weird.

Sorry for the thread hijack, OP. I wear Rock & Republic jeans, I think they make men's jeans but they look really douchy.
