How much of that is advertising? Ever time I look at my wife’s FB page, 80% of it are ads and other BS….

Woke companies suck, but the majority of them do make money because it’s what young people(the driving force of culture) are into. And that’s the cold hard truth.

I am no business expert, but my guess would be most businesses fail. I don’t think most “woke” businesses or most businesses for that matter make money. Second, it more about business model and I don’t think people give a shite about wokeness. I don’t know why it’s so important for you to stress it being “woke” businesses. You seem to be pushing it right now.

Most liberals on the whole aren’t having children. Conservatives tend to have more children and larger families.

FB has no issues with fake, abuse, dog fighting, pron, scammers, profile duplicators, hackers, anything immoral or wrong. If you report those, Fb finds nothing wrong. Post up scripture or 2-A, how bad our gov is, the bots come out. Why anyone is on there I don’t understand.

I don’t use my traditional Facebook page, but I do use facebook groups A LOT. Additionally their marketplace is far superior to anything else out there. It’s far and away the best place to have something like local events, fishing reports, restaurant specials and hours, for sale items, etc.

I understand what you’re saying, but if you look at Westernize type countries, they aren’t even at replacement birth levels. The US gets away with it because of immigration. I would argue that a thriving country can replace its population. Most of the world growth is not coming from Westernize countries. The future of the world will look very different from the last hundred or 200 years.

Reported” users and profit Yeah, no cooking of the books there. And Joe Biden “reportedly” got the most votes in the history of ever.

When you don’t like what the numbers say, they must be fake? Pretty standard retort for any news around here these days.

I don’t believe there is a large segment of individuals that don’t have internet but do have a smart phone and using to play on Facebook.

More than likely there are fake users being created in order to boost numbers to increase ad revenue.

Has it not been that way since the 50s? Most seem to grow up and remove their heads from their asses.

Yes but the issue now seems to be my age group(early 40s) still hasn’t excepted reality. The ones that always talked all the shite about “what they are gonna do” still live in a fantasy world about their position in the world. This makes them easily manipulated by false promises of greener grass.
