Good Morning
Spine shots tomorrow.
Joke of the Day
A poodle and a collie are walking together when the poodle suddenly unloads on his friend. “My life is a mess,” he says. “My owner is mean, my girlfriend ran away with a schnauzer and I’m as jittery as a cat.”
“Why don’t you go see a psychiatrist?” suggests the collie.
“I can’t,” says the poodle. “I’m not allowed on the couch.”

Good morning, folks.
Coc#1 is righteous, and Tinka is snoring like a cartoon bear.
Not a bad start to the day.

Morning! Time to get busy living or get busy dying.

Good Morning Humans
Thursday already! The weekend is getting close and will be just what the doctor ordered to clear up these working man blues.
Time to make some stuff happen and clear the decks for an easy, rat-killing Friday.
See y’all later.

Damn, BFC. They are shooting a little silicone caulk up in there as cushioning? Good luck, brother.

I’m not sure exactly. My neurologist is going to do some sciatic block stuff. He also adds some steroids. He did the EMG yesterday.
Over the years I usually had my anesthesiologist friends give me an epidural injection. Could watch the medicine going in on the fluoroscope. Instant relief.
Had enough of the pain yesterday to where I took a half of Percocet. Just took a half with this cup of coffee. It feels so good not to hurt.
And I’m going to keep taking them till tomorrow.

Morning everyone.
Another sunny Spring day is forecast. Got the ant hills in the yard sprinkled with Amdro so they are either going to eat and die or they will move.
Gonna keep up with your back saga BFC. Last November I slipped a disc, could feel the vertebrae snap out and back, while plugging back in the IV pole after a mid night bathroom run while hospitalized. Last CT shows that has turned into a lytic fracture w/out carcinoma of S1 with slight anterior displacement and wedging of L5.
It’s only been about 3 weeks since I stopped daily pain meds and using a heating pad for my back. Of course I lost some range of motion from that but with inguinal hernia involving captured bowel loop my range of motion and actions was already limited.
You probably already know but those pain meds slow down your guts passing food through so increasing fluids and fewer high fiber veggies (and cooked to death veggies are easier than raw) will help to keep from clogging up.

I hope that works out for you with zero pain.

Careful. This will lead to laying down in your boat for a nap and waking up with a flagpole.
