Good Morning y'all.

Good luck with the spine shots fish. I skipped the shots when my sciatica roared and went straight to surgery. That was 14 years ago.

BigFish - how are those shots. I've had shots in every part of my bod except the spine. I'm sure its no treat...

Not bad at all. A little sting. When they did my first one 38 years ago they put me under general anesthesia. Only took one out of proposed series of three.

Fast forward twenty years and I needed another one. My doctor and I were deer hunting. I could hardly climb out of my tree as I had pinched something climbing up. We went to his office and he used a local anesthetic shot and then the epidural.

Last two times I just bit down on a bullet while he gave me the shot.

I have three bad disc in my neck. One fused. Three in my lower back. No surgery. All in all I do pretty good with them

Here’s a link for yall with back problems.
I herniated L4/5 and L5/S1 in Nov. of 2022.
Surgery was recommended but I opted for PRP injections first to see if I could avoid surgery on my back.
I had the PRP Injections done twice in April and July of 2023 and have not had a bit of pain since then.

You probably already know but those pain meds slow down your guts passing food through so increasing fluids and fewer high fiber veggies (and cooked to death veggies are easier than raw) will help to keep from clogging up.

Yes I take the sparingly. Made a mistake and ate some cheddar cheese on a burger yesterday. Slo Mo morning.
