Why in the past few years has this become an issue? I have had to re-tape my inspection sticker for the past two years after never having to before. Did Louisiana take the cheap way out and get a shittier glue?

the glue sticks to the glass but it separates from the paper.

It's been hit or miss too. My 2018 sticker peeled, my 2019 sticker did not, and my current one is bubbling up but yet to peel.

Of course not. They paid 3x as much as they use to pay, to give it to a company owned by a major campaign contributor / brother in law of someone important in BR. THAT person went cheap on the materials and got a worse glue and is laughing all the way to the bank.

Mine is nearly falling off but the 01/19 letters are still on the glass. Thinking about scraping it completely off and seeing how much longer I can roll like that.

It's already a bullshite system and they can't even get the fricking sticker right.

Yep. 2017-2019 one was barely hanging on. My 2019-2021 one is fine so far.

ETA: And my wife's 2019-2021 is fricking toast. Curled to almost nothing.

Packing tape is holding mine pretty well. I actually thought I lost the sticker for a few weeks, but found it stuck to the carpet under my seat.
