The downvotes (my own included) are pointed at the article's claim that "homosexual" is not a valid term and not at you for posting it.
In response to the author's assertion that we should avoid the use of that term, I shall henceforth endeavor to pronounce it "hah-mah-SEK-shul" in my best Southern Babdist preachin' voice akin to Jerry Clower. That should alleviate some of their concern and and soothe their disgruntled feelings.
