There should be a disclaimer to the lounge , don't read if you are family, sensitive, or trying to be serious.
She's an incomplete, she'll be alright. Just lose some function, maybe be wheel chair bound

That's crazy. I don't think I could have possibly thought that could be a way to get messed up

Oddly enough, when I read (and responded to) this you had 6 upvotes and 9 downvotes.
Sophomoric humor everywhere!

All jokes aside, if you can get impaled in the neck by what is essentially a half-inch diameter piece of steel rebar and NOT get an artery nicked, that's pretty fortunate.
She's moving her arms and legs and the wound will heal. She'll have a wicked scar and a (not so great) story.

During Arbor Day in middle school, a took a shot at a baby tree w/root ball with a measuring stick. Measuring stick broke clean in half.
Quickly planted the tree, ditched the measuring stick, and fled back to class none the wiser (except three friends).
All I got.

These facts are too identical to what happened to the best man in my wedding to not be my friend. He was not a LSU guy but an expectant father for the first time, out playing just for the shite of it, point being he was not a serious golfer & was just messing around. When the club went into his neck, we all froze, as nothing was "happening". But when he pulled the club out, blood came out like a river & by the time we got him to the ER he was in a coma & died 3 days later. His son was born the next wk. My son, grandson to be of my friend, was born the day of his funeral. Both my son & his were named after him.
