Meh, my wife doesn’t eat meat. Not that big of a deal. My one word of caution is that vegetarian eat a lot of pasta so watch your waistline.

I don't see why it would be a problem unless she is the type that openly frowns when someone eats meat or can't stand to be around the smell of meat cooking, smoking, etc.. If that is the case then you have a problem because she is not going to change.

Is there some reason you can't eat what you want and she eat what she wants? Is she morally opposed to you eating meat in front of her?

There's an episode of Master of None that deals with this issue. It's pretty hilarious. OP and his girl should sit down together and watch it.

Let me guess, every time you dine out she has to let the waiter know she's vegetarian?

These people love to let everyone know they don't eat meat...it's an attention thing.

Make sure she’s a real vegetarian. The upside is that she’ll stay skinny and should not blow up. However, I’ve seen one girl who was very chubby and said “I’m a vegetarian “ . I was quite perplexed. Then I saw her nail half a cheese pizza and some blue bell ice cream. I was like, “ girl, you’re a cream-a-tarian “.

Y'all don't have to eat the same meals and to some degree, you could try some of the vegetarian meals that she likes.

Not really attention-seeking. She's letting the waiter know her diet. If you had a peanut allergy. You would probably ask the waiter if any of the items on the menu contain peanuts or whatnot. It's a common sense thing to do.

I don’t care what people eat, just as long as they don’t try to convert me to their side. I’m a meat eater but I try to go 1 day a week that I eat vegetarian.

You clearly aren’t married or with kids, or at least don’t cook at home. Not eating the same meal is a PITA.

If a spouse does not eat meat but will cook meat, that’s fine. If she won’t cook or be around meat that won’t work. You can make things like salad with chicken or exclude the chicken and add beans, pasta without meat, etc.

A lot of vegetarians eat like crap and have body self esteem issues so they go ‘vegetarian’ to feel better morally as they aren’t far from it anyway. Those are the ones to avoid.

I’ve eaten vegetarian to cut wait for a month Or just change up the diet here and there. It’s plenty easy to do. Long term my body craved meat though.

OP said this is a lady he's dating. I know plenty of people who date vegans or vegetarians. It's not that difficult to coke separate things at home. Stop being such a drama queen.

The vegetarians I know don't have self esteem issue. The whole "They don't eat meat because they like attention is hyperbole".

Meh. Not a big deal at all unless she’s forcing it on others or something.

I don't think it would be nearly as difficult as some of you make it out to be.

op. dating a vegetarian must suck but count your blessings at least you can make out with the girl for hours, you can hug her or go behind and hug her from behind while pressing your 3rd arm up against her buttocks. You can stare into her eyes hold her by the waist and both of you guys can look into each other eyes with love, you can feel every inch of her body, you also get to taste that sweet honey nectar from her warm wet zone, you get to also stick your raw unprotected 3rd arm into it all the while both of you guys are giving each other huge amounts of affection and validation

This might be the weirdest thing I have ever read but I died from laughing while reading it

My wife has been a pescatarian for about 15 years. It is not a big deal for us. She does it more for health and personal preference and not because of moral issues. She doesn't like the taste and texture of meat so we don't have a bunch of fake meats in the fridge. We eat a ton of seafood which I love.

Our only issues are her cooking meat and ordering pizza. She usually cooks a bunch of veggies and then I will grill some meat but sometimes I'm late getting home and she cooks it. Since she doesn't eat meat she doesn't know taste and texture. When ordering pizza she wants veggie and I want one with meat and you have to deal with doing a half pizza combo.

You'll be fine.

I dated a vegetarian for a couple of years. She was a great cook so she had some delicious vegetable dishes. If I wanted meat I took care of that myself.
