Gigi Wu Plunges to Death in Her Bikini

Taiwanese social media star Gigi Wu, better known as the Bikini Climber, was famous for posting photos in a bikini from mountain peaks. Wu died after falling off a ravine at Yushan National Park in Taiwan and freezing to death.

Gigi Wu fell 20-30 metres down the ravine from where she called her friends and gave her coordinates. Over phone, Wu told her friends that she was unable to move the lower part of her body.

Wu, called the 'Bikini Climber', became famous on social media for her photos from mountain tops dressed in bikinis. In four years, Wu had scaled a 100 mountain peaks and posed in bikini on all of them. Her photos on social media are proof of the same.

In an interview last year, Wu said, "I put on a bikini in each one of the 100 mountains. I only have around 97 bikinis so I accidentally repeated some."

Wu's reason to do this was: "It just looks so beautiful, what's not to like?"

Gigi Wu's death comes a few months after an Indian travel blogger couple fell to their death at the Yosemite National Park in USA. The blogger couple's post mortem report, that came out just last week, said that they were drunk at the time of their fall.
