Some say it looks like a a toilet being flushed; in more generous interpretations, it is a beautiful inverted fountain.

In a rare occurrence, the water level in the Lake Berryessa reservoir, 75 miles north of San Francisco, has risen so much that it is pouring into a 200ft-deep circular pipe constructed in its corner. The 72ft diameter pipe, known as Morning Glory Spillway, or simply Glory Hole, takes in water like a drain, once the reservoir is filled over capacity, and shoots it into a creek below the Monticello Dam.

If I had the option to choose between tonight's Powerball jackpot or the expression on that woman's face when I get naked in front of her (for the right reasons), I'd choose the latter.

They did, and now they've got more rain than they can reasonably deal with.

Pretty short-sighted

You win the powerball and you could have a different one every night

I know, but the doom and gloom crowd in the media forgot to report it.

All we heard was GW, Cali was doomed. Now the reservoirs are full.

How did that happen?

Not just full, but starting to flood and the snowpack is pretty ridiculous. So more flooding when it melts. Really just the opposite problem.

Different weather pattern but another extreme result and it looks to continue for the next couple of weeks.

It wasn't a drought. It was environmentalists using government. Most rainwater for a long time was allowed to spill into the ocean instead of in reservoirs and used for agriculture. The delta smelt was more important than human farmers.
