Yep. I’d prioritize my risk assessment if I were you, OP.

We used to live in a century plus home at one time and strange things happened to us. Even though it was never officially designated as haunted, the kids and I were convinced it was. The wife was skeptical but she was witness to some of the happenings and couldn't explain it herself. We had items slide off of the dining room table, calculator run by itself, door knocks and noone there, cat act really strange like its sees someone or something when nothing is there, etc. Now, that being said, we didn't think it was an evil spirit, just an old soul stuck here. After researching it, several articles stated that you are to claim out loud that if it were an evil spirit, it is not welcomed. Ours was just letting us know that it was there. The kids weren't scared and neither were my wife and I. In fact, when we would leave for a trip, I would always tell it to protect the house and see you when we get back. lol. When soething would happen with the kids, they would text me, "Our friend is back." lol.

It wasn’t a ghost.

Can you link the story behind these images?
That’s from a video from poster Michael J Cocks. Evidently they were in an abandoned building/stadium i think in Iraq. They were filming the inside and one of the guys said “broken arse glass.” It wasn’t until MJC watched the video and noticed those 3 figures (1 adult and 2 small children) walk right through the group and straight up the stairs towards the light. He claims nobody in his group saw those 3 and I believe that because nobody reacted when the adult and 2 children passed right by. Definitely weird shite. He can explain it better though.
Oh and I used to live in New Orleans and our old arse house always had strange shite happening at night. I could go on for hours.

I’ve watched the video several times but never seen those pictures so clearly. Those “ghosts” are clearly making shadows. So they’re not incorporeal beings. Maybe they’re something else, but idk I think MJC might have pulled everyone’s legs now

At this point you should have given her an attitude adjustment, and she wouldn't be leaving you for an "emergency on-call".

I don’t know what to think about it either. The bizarre thing about it is that that building didn’t look like a place that some random small kids would be walking through. I don’t think his group saw those people based on their lack of reaction.

That thread was great. IIRC, I had hosted the video on youtube for him before he got it figured out. Here's the video: #brokenassglass

Buildings make strange noises all the time. You just don’t notice them when people are talking and the TV is on.
I spent the night in a library by myself working on a project in school and nearly shat myself from the odd sounds.
The next day, I could still hear them if I listened very closely. It was just the building, not ghosts.

Are ghosts real? Is there an afterlife?
I don't know, but I woke up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep so I read this thread. I eventually fell back to sleep and had a very vivid dream that I was having dinner with my grandparents (who both have passed on). I got to talk with them and it seemed so real. At the end of the dream I got up to leave and my MeMe called to me from the table, then got up and came and gave me a huge hug with tears in her eyes and told me she loved me.
I don't care if it was the power of suggestion or what. It was awesome and I woke with a feeling I haven't had in my heart since they died.
[ETA] Yesterday was my birthday and it was pretty shitty. My wife is strugging with some stuff and the day was mostly me helping her deal with it. I don't regret it, but wish it could have felt more like a birthday. That dream made up for it.

One of my experiences scared the bejeezus out of me. I was metal detecting with my Dad way back up in the woods near the Savannah River on what was an old home site. Being where it was near an old road that existed since the 1700s, the area had activity (dwellings) from the 1700s to current. We have found stuff from colonial homesites to Civil War to everything in between and after.
This particular place was an old homesite not far from the river. It was once an old field with a slight hill top on which the house stood. Now, it still is a field but a pine forest - planted in rows for harvesting. Bordering one side is creek/draw and the other an old oak forest. At the edge of the oak forest we found a grave marker made of pine that turned to fat lighter with a date that partially read 18.. (the last two unreadable). This site was also fairly close to the major roadway back then.
The day in question was early summer and hot. In the pine field/forest were also scattered bushes/small trees, so the ground not only had pine straw but leaves, too. Those of you who have spent time in the woods during hot/dry season know that you can't walk quietly.
It was morning when we went. Hot with no air movement. Just stagnant, so to speak. I was on one side of the place and my Dad was on the other out of eyesight and sound. I usually detect with my head down watching what I'm doing but look up a bit, too. Even with my small headphones I can still hear everything around me. I hadn't been then but roughly an hour or so before I started feeling uneasy, like someone was watching me. It was deathly quiet - not a sound except my steps and detector head sweeping the ground. It's like the hair stood up on the back of my neck. Very uneasy.
After a few minutes, I shook it off and went back to detecting. Then it happened again but this time stronger. And I was starting to get a bit nervous. At the very moment I looked up I saw a man walking roughly 20-30 yards from me. He was dressed in a Confederate uniform - grey woolen shirt, pants, etc. He continued walking and turned to look at me before disappearing in the trees.
Mind you, there was no sound. Nothing. No wind, no birds. No footsteps from him. Nothing. He was walking with no sound at all. And vanished. I couldn't really make out his eyes but I knew he was looking at me as his head was turned in my direction.
I got out of there, running. My Dad? He laughed at the story. We have been there prior to that event and many times after. That's the only time I've ever felt that or had any experience.

I posted a thread a while back about this. Bought a side table at an estate sale. The next night, I dreamed I was walking through the house where I bought it. My son woke up screaming for me the next night and when I went in, he said he saw someone with a burned face standing over the bed he and his brother were in. Fast forward a week or so- my girlfriend hears a noise like a human moving in front of the bed. We wake, and there's a t shirt that was on the floor tied in knots and on the bedside table. Nothing really has happened since then, this was a couple of years ago.
