Maybe the pessimists are right. I picked up her phone for a second, she had a meltdown. I didn’t even look at messages, just picked it up.

Send her flowers next week, with no name as the sender. If she asks you if you sent them you’re good. If she doesn’t mention them, there’s your answer.

Yeah, he just decided to text this gal (whom he never dated or anything) outta the blue at 2 AM. Oh and he had her number already somehow.

Eta: there was no better feeling than seeing those bubbles pop up after that 1am text. Like getting a big bass on the line you knew the hunt was on

1. You wouldn’t have made the OP if you didn’t think there was a decent chance something was up.
2. Her quick delete and block seems a little suspicious. If it truly was another parent with a special needs kid and not a hook up, she might have showed you the text thread and replied that nothing will happen because she’s in a relationship.
3. Even faithful chicks keep dudes in their orbit in case they break up with their boyfriend or decide to cheat down the road.
4. How exactly did you pick up her phone? She could have just been pissed that you don’t trust her? But you seem to be claiming it was a normal phone grab. Why is she so defensive?
ETA: There’s a decent chance everything was on the up and up and the negative responses in their thread raised extra doubts causing you to act jealous and untrusting and possessive which she didn’t like. Give us more details...
