I just got a graduation invite from some kid I have never seen before. I know his parents, I guess you can say I am friends with the dad. We use to hang out, but I probably haven't talked to him in at least 15 years.. Why would they send one to me?

Anyone else started getting graduation invites?

They want you to send money. Pretty simple.

Graduation is big money, baw. Didn't you get cash for graduating?

It’s a numbers game. The more he sends out the more money he gets. Just send him a card with a 20 and be done with it

Is it an invitation or an announcement?

Well, I guess it's both.. There is a little card in it that says something like "come join us in celebrating......". But technically I guess it's actually an announcement.
